One of our favorite things to do in Houston is attend the huge dog show they have every year. These are Irish Wolfhounds. Aren't they cool. Daddy, who is not the biggest animal lover to say the least, really loves his children. He enjoys the trips because they both (and mama!) love to see all these wonderful puppy dogs. Sloane even got to feed one of the beasts.

This is a papillon. If you read Fancy Nancy, you'll know this is the puppy Fancy Nancy wanted to get because it is so "fancy".

The black dog is a flat coated retriever. It wanted to lick Sloane's face off. A tiny hyper, I think.

When I strapped Clay in his stroller, it became apparent the boy was kind of tired.

Here is Sloane with one of my personal favorites, an Italian Spinone. You should see its sweet, soulful eyes. In love!

Another little spastic, I mean fancy, Papillon.

I had some trouble taking photos of these two.

Patient daddy.

Always on the run! Unless he's strapped down, that is.

Excited to be here!

I've always seen the dog shows on TV but never thought of attending one! How fun! I've never heard of any of these dogs you mentioned! Love the photo of Will... what a trooper!
