Look Who is Two!

This little punkin'! Below is a picture out of order. This was October 2008, so he was about 2 months old and Sloane not quite two herself. Where does the time go??
In the beginning...

First birthday party.

Clay's second birthday party. Here, Sloane is helping get the party started while the birthday boy naps. I decided it would be cute to put dried split peas in yellow buckets as decor and you can imagine that Sloane and cousins thought they were perfect material for the tractors to "move around." Oye. I'm still stepping on stray split peas days later.

Tractors! When he woke up he was very excited to see his birthday cake and have tractors to play with.

Grandpa had stuck his fingers in the cake (I'm not sure why either) and Clay did not appreciate getting messy. at. all.

But he liked the singing.

I want to touch it.

Enjoying the cake like a cave woman. She kept asking when the birthday party was and would clap her hands and say "cake"...like mama, like daughter.

Don't you just wanna eat him up.

Sloane was pretty stoked about the influx of new toys.

Aunt Cina even brought her a gift.

I'm pretty sure he's saying "mines" here or at lest thinking it. Lightning McQueen was quite a hit.

Using both hands to keep hold.

Granny and Grandpapa got him a new set of "non-pink" wheels.

Aunt Cina at work to get toys out as soon as possible.

Enjoying his "stuff".

My baby is growing UP! *sniff*

Happy birthday, Clay!! Wish we could have been there! (we weren't invited, though)

Only the most important people were invited. We've decided to be very exclusive. Buahahahahahahaha.

Totally kidding. No but Please be prepared to be invited next year if we are anywhere close to you. In fact, even if I don't send invites out...I will make one for you just especial. :)
