Day Out With Thomas

And....I'm into October folks. Hold on to your hats!!! :)

And at the bottom I through in a couple of other shots. The last one is Clay having some one on one time with me at the park. I think he enjoys the days that Sloane is at school!

Sloane's second season of soccer.

Clay thinks that we go straight to the park after we drop off Sloane at school on Wednesdays. And he is usually right!

You Wouldn't Know It

But these are from Scott and Jessica's wedding reception. I got Jessica in one picture but Scott was elusive. It was at a barbecue joint outside of Houston. We had a great time. The cousins really loved cutting a rug. As you may be able to tell, the DJ played YMCA. Ha.

We were so glad that Noelle and Sally came to visit for the weekend, too! This was in September. I'll catch up one day!

To Be Continued...

I realize that I am way behind on my posts. Hang in there, blogger fan(s). I will attempt to get a new post up really soon. I was going to post a couple of random pics but I deleted them and have to get a shower!!!!!! So hasta luego. ta ta for now. and see you soon.

Big fat juicy ones, long thin slimy ones.

Worms! Of course. In late July, yes, I realize I am blogging backwards. That's just how I roll, people.

We got a big rainstorm on this particular day and we were out in the driveway goofing around, as the rain had cooled it down a little, when we noticed in the gushing water on the sides of the road what appeared to be sticks or plant debris. Sloane, however, being much smarter and more observant than me, correctly told me that they were actually worms!!!! It was so gross, y'all. I thought it was little sticks but it was hundreds if not thousands of earthworms! And some of them looked like they were tied together in tiny worm balls. It was one of the strangest things I've seen. And it kept us entertained for at least a good thirty minutes. Now, after a rain, we are sure to check for the worm parade. Hasn't happened again, though.

I posted a couple of "outtakes" so you would appreciate how hard it is to get some people to simmer down enough for photos. And if you think these past two posts have been "Clay-centric", you would be right. I was trying to get a couple of decent pictures of him at his "2 year old" self. Sloane managed to get in a few, as well :).
