Sloane Gets a Haircut

Sloane got her first haircut at Aveda the other day. She loved it and she looks adorable. Someone might be a girlie girl!

Clay Kingsmore Kennedy is Here!

Clay weighed 6 lb. 2 and 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long. He was born on Friday August 15th at 3:29pm. The c-section was originally scheduled for 10am but we were bumped 3 times for emergency c-sections so it was a little longer wait than we would have liked. We had been there since 8am! Apparently there have been a record number of babies being born in August. We didn't even get a labor delivery room because they were all full. We had to get prepped in triage. Nice :). By the grace of God, everything went well and everyone was healthy. We came home today - Sunday. Yippee. Hospital living is not our style! Clay is precious. Big sister Sloane really likes him a lot. So far he is allowed to stay with us :). Granny and Grandpa Kennedy and Granny and Grandpapa Enyart came to meet the little man. Thanks for everyone's prayers and well wishes.

Zoo Trip

We went to the zoo. It takes all of about 10 minutes to go through. Well, 15 minutes if you ride the train. Today, unfortunately, the train was not running. Sloane and Mom have been to the zoo innumerable times but this was Dad's first trip.

I keep thinking I'm going into labor but I'm afraid it's all wishful thinking. It would be inconvenient to labor early, as we would have no babysitter so I better stop hoping for it!
