Clay Kingsmore Kennedy is Here!

Clay weighed 6 lb. 2 and 1/2 ounces and was 18 inches long. He was born on Friday August 15th at 3:29pm. The c-section was originally scheduled for 10am but we were bumped 3 times for emergency c-sections so it was a little longer wait than we would have liked. We had been there since 8am! Apparently there have been a record number of babies being born in August. We didn't even get a labor delivery room because they were all full. We had to get prepped in triage. Nice :). By the grace of God, everything went well and everyone was healthy. We came home today - Sunday. Yippee. Hospital living is not our style! Clay is precious. Big sister Sloane really likes him a lot. So far he is allowed to stay with us :). Granny and Grandpa Kennedy and Granny and Grandpapa Enyart came to meet the little man. Thanks for everyone's prayers and well wishes.

Oh my gosh!!! He is just absolutely adorable! Congratulations! We've been checking your blog every hour since he was born waiting patiently (or not) for the first pictures! So thankful you're home and everything went smoothly. (He looks like he was worth the long wait in triage!)

Love you,
Kelli

What a gorgeous boy! I cannot wait to meet him. And what a doting big sister, who before looked little and now looks so grown up. How precious!
