She Gets it From Me

Isn't this the cutest thing ever??? I love the YMCA values and prayers before games. Sloane has started soccer, and while she seemed enthused at first, it has been sort of hit and miss on the motivation factor (well, she is 3 years old). She scored a goal May 1 and I have to say it must have set her on fire because she was en fuego the last game. She didn't even want to come out or rest or anything.

The picture below was taken at her first game, which Granny, Aunt Lucina, Will, Henry and Thomas *and mom and dad and Clay* attended. It was a rainy cold day and I had to borrow a shirt from the coaches kids to put under her jersey! I have been prepared since then. There was some thunder and lightning but we did play a little and won the game. The Strikers (our team name) are undefeated this season. We have some aggressive little girls on the team! The coach teaches them to take the ball using Dora and Swiper and it seems to be a winning approach:).

Soccer cousins! Thomas was geared up for his soccer game but he was rained out...
In line to get the team pics made.
The cool observer/Kennedy cheering squad leader. He wants to play so bad!

Having a moment with Daddy. I LOVE this picture.
This is our little warrior at the latest game. Doesn't she look tough?
Love, love, love this picture! I told her all the cool soccer players sit on their balls. Hey, she believed me.
Sloane is a little territorial with the ball. Poor guy.
She was practicing here. It looks like I caught her in the game but I didn't.
Destined for greatness :). Though she is little, she is mighty. Oof!
