We had a week early birthday celebration for Clay. We invited Granny, Grandpa, Aunt Lauren, Jamie (our law school friend), and our neighbors Sarah and Andrew Hodges and their son, Carter. Clay appreciated them all showing up for his big day! Of course, since it was his celebration take lots of pictures day, the normally ultra smiley Clay was a little solemn but gave me a few grins. His cake was pretty darn ugly (long story) but it tasted pretty good. Thankfully, momma got over her hissy fit about the cake before the party started.
