It's been awhile. I won't bore you with the details of why it has been difficult for me to post. The important thing is I'm back up and running. I know you were all going crazy for an update. Ha ! :) We are in Lexington, KY now via New Orleans and Nashville, TN. We made a stop in the crescent city and Hendersonville to the Casa de McPherson where Sloane appreciated all the hard work John put into hanging that swing. In New Orleans, we stayed at the Monteleone which was so neat and cool. It is also where my grandparents (McGill) honeymooned way back in the day, which makes it even cooler. We saw Steve Zahn, the actor, while we were there. Sloane was doing hijinks in the lobby when he walked by and he declared her cute. We found out later he actually lives in Lexington, KY. Trivia for you! and what a coincidence, huh?

Aww... I'm jealous that you visited the McPherson casa! Hopefully we will run into y'all someday soon!
I love that Sloane has such a tight grip on her treats (beignets, I assume?)from Cafe Du Monde...cultivating a taste for the big easy at such a young age! Looks like you guys had a great time!
